Live at The Cockpit
On July 9th I got the chance to see the guys playing at The Cockpit in Leeds. It's fantastic that they have got so popular and yet are still playing venues like The Cockpit as you can still get close enough to the stage to get a really good view.
The gig itself was quite heavily dominated by emo kids who stud around at the back and didn't move but once I pushed my way through to the front half the crowd actually seemed to be enjoying themselves. I know I was, I managed to annoy a lot of people by screaming so close to them :D.
The band were of course wicked. Ben's between song commentary got the crowd going nicely, not that they really needed to do much else but play their classics for the front half to go mental. While it was a fairly standard stage show in terms of what happened it just radiated energy which made all the difference. Definitely worth going to.
